does anyone else think the ending of anjo loiro is totally hollow?

The way Armando just lets everything dissolve in those final few shots is haunting, though I’m still not sure if it was supposed to feel that empty or if I’m just missing the point. It really makes you wonder if he ever actually had a grip on his own life to begin with.

I think that emptiness is exactly the point, honestly. It feels like the structure of his whole routine was just waiting to collapse the second he had to face something real.
