the one still sitting when the lights come up. endings matter to me way too much.

“The way the final act mirrors the opening sequence is clever, but I wish the pacing hadn't dragged so much while we waited for the payoff.”
“The pacing in the first hour is a bit of a slog but I honestly didn't mind because the way the town feels increasingly claustrophobic is so well handled. I have mixed feelings about how much they kept hidden, but that final sequence is exactly the kind of cold, jarring resolution I love. It really sticks the landing by not giving you the easy answers you think you want.”

Honestly the fashion was fine but I was sitting there the whole time waiting for someone to throw a punch or break a glass bottle over a head. It’s way too much talking and not enough stuff actually happening for me.

Honestly that middle stretch felt like it lasted three years, though the cinematography during the car chase kept me awake. I just wanted them to stop talking and get to the garage already.

Honestly the leather trench coat aesthetic is still somehow holding up even after all these years. I just wish people would stop trying to replicate that lobby scene so hard, it never looks as cool as they think.
