maybe i should have expected them to stretch the premise this far but it honestly felt like they were just trying to fill space with all that trekking through the ruins. there was a quiet moment in a derelict station that almost worked, showing the weight of everything they lost, but the rest was just loud noise and predictable survival tropes. i miss the claustrophobia of the first one because this just feels like another generic escape movie.

I really wanted this to settle into that quiet, unsettling rhythm it kept hinting at, but it just kept tripping over its own premise. That scene in the kitchen where they’re just sitting there in the dark is actually pretty chilling, mostly because of how still the guy stays, but the rest of it leans way too hard on tired tropes. It felt like they had one good atmospheric idea and stretched it until it snapped. Wish they had trusted the silence more.
