“Cillian Murphy has these eyes that just hold all that exhaustion and regret, and honestly, the whole movie felt like watching someone slowly dismantle their own soul.”

The shift in tone halfway through really kills the momentum, like the script couldn't decide if it wanted to be a grounded character study or something way more frantic. Suriya definitely carries those early scenes where he's just trying to navigate the bureaucracy, but it loses its footing pretty quickly after that.

These films strip away the usual pageantry to focus on the quiet, heavy cost of being trapped by the era you were born into.

That sub is a total claustrophobia nightmare and I loved every second of it. They really nailed the feeling of being trapped in a rusting metal coffin while staring at nothing but red liquid through a tiny porthole. Honestly it puts most big budget space flicks to shame just by keeping things simple and gritty. If you want something that makes you feel like you cant breathe for an hour this is it.

Honestly the fashion was fine but I was sitting there the whole time waiting for someone to throw a punch or break a glass bottle over a head. It’s way too much talking and not enough stuff actually happening for me.
