Mihalis Kakogiannis or Michael Cacoyannis (Greek: Μιχάλης Κακογιάννης, Michalis Kakogiannis; 11 June 1922 – 25 July 2011) was a Greek Cypriot filmmaker, best known for his 1964 film Zorba the Greek.
